Google+ counter, share option and next update

I like this plugin, looks great, but just a few questions. First, if I set the buttons to show the counter above, the Google+ counter just shows a question mark. How can that be fixed? Also, is it possible to disable the additional share option at the end? Finally, do you know when the next update will be out (re the Twitter message saying "big update coming!") Thanks! :-)
