WP Plugin Fatal Error

When trying to install the WP Plugin, it is unable to activate with this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/sharexy/sharexy.php on line 36

I used the code for Website and put it in my footer.php instead of using the plugin.
